The building itself has a fascinating history dating back to 1944, once housing the legendary Raul's—a former Tejano bar that became an iconic punk venue in Austin's music scene. While we've transformed the space, we've preserved some of this rich history, including the famous giant rat mural from 1979 that remains protected under plexiglass beneath our modern decor.
