Grrrl Gang is an Indonesian indie rock power trio making waves in the global music scene with infectious melodies, anthemic songs, and electrifying live performances.

Hailing from the cultural city of Yogyakarta, the band consists of Angeeta Sentana on vocals and guitar, Akbar Rumandung on bass and vocals, and Edo Alventa on guitar and vocals. Since their formation in 2016, they've built considerable buzz across Southeast Asia and beyond.

Their music blends punk attitude with pop sensibility, drawing comparisons to bands like Sleater-Kinney, Alvvays, and Bikini Kill. Their lyrics tackle themes of feminism, mental health, and relationships with raw honesty that resonates with young listeners worldwide.

Their full-length debut album Spunky! (released September 2023) showcases the band's evolution after relocating from Yogyakarta to Jakarta. The album was produced by in-demand producer Lafa Pratomo and released through Kill Rock Stars, Trapped Animal, and Big Romantic Records. Notable tracks include "Blue-Stained Lips," "Cool Girl," and "Honey, Baby"—the latter earning a nomination for Best Asian Song at the NME Awards 2022.
