Perfect (SXSW)

Perfect is a world premiere drama film screening at SXSW 2026, held March 12–18 in Austin, Texas. Directed by Millicent Hailes and starring Julia Fox, the film follows Kai, a woman living out of her car after a breakup, who discovers a hidden utopian lake and encounters a band of eccentric misfits, including the enigmatic Mallory. As their passionate romance develops, Kai uncovers the secrets Mallory harbors in this mature romance exploring themes of loss, hope, and connection.
