Originally from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and now splitting time between LA, NYC, and Richmond, VA, Lucaa draws from a rich musical heritage—her father backed Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, and Michael Jackson, while her mother was a trained opera singer. Self-taught on piano and vocals, Lucaa crafts raw, deeply personal songs influenced by Radiohead, Billie Eilish, Willow, and girl in red, blending grungy alt-pop vibes.

Her star is rising fast: a standout SXSW 2024 showcase sparked major label buzz, plus gigs, international campaigns with Leica Cameras and TurboTax, features with Black Eyed Peas' Taboo in Reserved Magazine, Vogue Japan (print), KEXP, Ones to Watch, and Them.
