Snow White

Metamorphosis Dance presents Snow White – a bold reimagining of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale told through expressive, contemporary choreography at the Penfold Theater. This richly layered ballet brings inner forces to life as Pride, Envy, and the Queen's growing darkness take human form on stage. The forest itself becomes a living presence, transforming from a place of terror into one of refuge and renewal.

Following betrayal, mourning, and a haunting vigil kept by ravens and maidens, love ultimately breaks the spell that once bound the kingdom. The result is a powerful and emotionally resonant production that weaves together themes of innocence, courage, and redemption—offering audiences a hopeful reminder that light can overcome darkness.

Performances run April 10-12, 2026. Metamorphosis Dance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional ballet company dedicated to breaking traditional stereotypes of ballet and expanding access to the arts through innovative storytelling and community-centered performances.
