Little Feat - The Last Farewell Tour
Experience the legendary Little Feat at their iconic venue in Austin! After 56 years of creating musical magic, this rock and roll institution is embarking on "The Last Farewell Tour" — a years-long celebration of their incredible journey rather than an absolute goodbye.
Little Feat's story began in 1969 when Lowell George and Bill Payne (both formerly of Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention) joined forces. The band's name? A playful nod to Lowell's famously small shoe size! Over the decades, they've crafted timeless classics like "Willin'," "Dixie Chicken," "Oh Atlanta," and "Fat Man in the Bathtub," and produced one of rock's greatest live albums, Waiting for Columbus.
Today's Little Feat features founding keyboardist Bill Payne alongside longtime members Kenny Gradney (bass), Sam Clayton (percussion), and Fred Tackett (guitar), joined by Scott Sharrard (guitar) and Tony Leone (drums). Despite losing band members along the way, their groove has only gotten stronger — they recently released the well-received album Strike Up the Band.
Their signature blend of rock, New Orleans swamp boogie, jazz, and blues creates an unforgettable experience. While the tour bus gets a well-deserved rest, Little Feat will continue performing and recording, bringing their unmatched energy to devoted fans worldwide. This is your chance to witness music history in the making!
