Welcome to The Butterfly Bar @ The VORTEX, a whimsical cocktail and wine bar unlike any other in Austin! Nestled in East Austin, our beautiful space features a historic 100-year-old bar inside and a spacious outdoor garden that's actually a nationally certified butterfly sanctuary.
Every drink you enjoy here supports a wonderful cause - we're owned and operated by The VORTEX, a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre established in Austin in 1988. Your purchases directly help pay performing artists and support the vibrant arts community.
