Viz Whizz ATX at Zilker Park

Viz Whizz ATX is your dog’s new favorite standing date with the pack. Once a month, on the 20th, pups and their humans take over Zilker Park’s Rock Island off-leash area for an evening of zoomies, sniff-greetings, and easygoing social time under the Austin skyline.

• What it is: A relaxed, recurring pack meet-up hosted by Thomas and his Vizslas, Cassie & Casey. Think casual dog park hang, but with a built-in crew of fellow dog lovers who actually show up on purpose.

• Who it’s for: All friendly dogs and their humans. Whether you’ve got a high-energy Vizsla, a social butterfly of another breed, or just love being around dogs, you’re welcome to join the fun.

• Vibes & views: The off-leash Rock Island area gives dogs plenty of space to run their sunset zoomies while humans kick back, swap training tips, and enjoy one of the best skyline views in town.

• Meet the host: When you arrive, check in with Thomas and his red-coated co-hosts Cassie & Casey. They’re your go-to crew for finding the group, meeting new people, and making sure everyone—on two legs and four—is having a good time.

• What to bring: Water for you and your pup, a leash for transitions in and out of the off-leash area, poop bags, and whatever treats or toys your dog loves (and is willing to share).

• Why you’ll love it: Your dog goes home happily tired, you go home with a few more dog-obsessed friends, and everyone gets a mid-month reset in one of Austin’s most iconic parks.
