Held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Rain on 4th, this official Austin PRIDE pageant is your chance to transform one unforgettable night into a full year of visibility, performance, and community impact. This year’s theme, WEAR YOUR PRIDE, dares contestants and supporters alike to show up fully as themselves — louder, brighter, and prouder than ever.

A night of fierce competition: Contestants vie for the titles of Mr, Ms, Mx, and Elite Austin PRIDE, bringing their fashion, talent, stage presence, and heart to the runway.
Representation with real impact: Winners become ambassadors for Austin PRIDE, appearing at community events, supporting outreach efforts, and putting a face to the diverse spectrum of LGBTQIA+ life in the city.
From stage to parade: Titleholders earn the chance to perform on the Main Stage at the Austin PRIDE Festival and secure a coveted spot on the official Austin PRIDE Parade float.

This pageant is intentionally inclusive. In addition to Mr and Ms, the title of Mx honors non-binary and genderfluid contestants, while the Elite category welcomes contestants over 40 who bring experience, power, and presence to the stage. However you identify, you choose how to be recognized, and the judging celebrates authenticity as much as glamour.

Limited contestant spots: Only 12 total contestants are accepted, with a maximum of 8 across the Mr/Ms/Mx/Elite titles, keeping the competition tight and the energy high.
Online registration: Prospective contestants can apply through the electronic application, making it easy to throw your crown into the ring.
Returning royalty and fresh faces: Whether you’re a seasoned pageant pro or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, this event is designed to welcome you into the Austin PRIDE family.
