Freaky Futch Day: An All-Lesbian Drag Show

Freaky Futch Day is turning Friday night into a gloriously gay, gloriously weird celebration of Austin’s all-lesbian drag scene. This special edition marks ONE YEAR of Futch Fetish, the city’s all-lesbian drag show, and the queens and kings are celebrating the only way they know how: by getting freaky, futchy, and fabulously unhinged.

• All-lesbian drag, all night – This isn’t your average drag lineup. Futch Fetish is proudly lesbian-centered, spotlighting performers who bring masc, fem, butch, futch, and everything-in-between energy to the stage.

• Look-swap chaos – For the anniversary show, the cast is swapping aesthetics and performance styles. Hosts Karabiner and Beebee Blvnt are trading signatures, and the rest of the divas are stepping into each other’s drag personas for a one-night-only identity scramble.

• Live music & spooky vibes – Expect divas getting spooky, monsters turning out glam looks, and Karabiner shredding on live bass. It’s part drag show, part rock gig, part Halloween fever dream in May.

• Specialty lesbian drink menu – The bar is leaning fully into sapphic silliness with themed cocktails crafted for the occasion. Think cheeky names, fruity flavors, and just enough liquid courage to get you screaming for your faves in the front row.

• Vendors & sapphic swag – Local vendors will be set up with art, accessories, and queer goodies, turning the venue into a mini market where you can support queer creators between sets.

• Iconic duo costume contest – Bring a friend, lover, situationship, or chaos buddy and dress as an iconic duo for a chance at prizes. Think Thelma & Louise, Xena & Gabrielle, Butch & Futch, or your favorite gay pop culture pair.

• Doors at 9:30 PM, show late and loud – The night kicks off with doors at 9:30 pm, giving you time to grab a drink, scope out seats, browse vendors, and get hyped before the futchy freakiness hits the stage.

• 18+ queer nightlife – This is an in-person, 18+ event tailored for queer women, lesbians, and sapphic folks, but all respectful guests are welcome to come celebrate and cheer on the cast.

• Immersive club atmosphere – Expect loud music, strobe lights, fog, and a club-style setup where you can dance, scream-sing along to your favorite songs, and fully melt into the night.
