Ahoy, Austin! Pirate Prom is setting sail at Tiny Minotaur Tavern for a gloriously offbeat night of costumes, dancing, and high-seas silliness. This is the kind of prom where the corsages are optional, the vibes are theatrical, and the pirate puns are absolutely mandatory.
Whether you come decked out as a swashbuckler, mer-person, sea monster, parrot, or just a landlubber with a good sense of humor, you’ll fit right in. Pirate and nautical looks are encouraged, but no one’s getting marooned for showing up in regular clothes. The whole point is to dress up, have fun, and lean into the absurd charm of a faux school dance with a maritime twist.

Welcome to the magical realm of the Tiny Minotaur Tavern - Austin's extraordinary fantasy escape! This enchanting 21+ venue is a treasure trove of imagination where fantasy comes alive in the heart of East Austin.
The Tiny Minotaur began as a humble pop-up tavern in an alley and has blossomed into a spectacular 6,000 square foot immersive fantasy world. This private social club combines movie-set quality art installations, live performances, and a welcoming tavern atmosphere where fellow nerds can gather!

- Enjoy fantasy-inspired live music, dungeon synth performances, and sometimes even drag shows
- Play tabletop games, try the Minotaur's custom PvP card combat game, or simply relax with a drink
- Costumes encouraged but not required (sweatpants or Renaissance Faire outfits equally welcome!)
The venue is fully ADA-accessible and maintains a strict policy against discriminatory behavior, ensuring everyone can enjoy this magical escape. While you won't find three-course meals, snacks like meat/vegetarian/GF options are typically available. Just remember - this fantastical realm is strictly for adults 21+, no little adventurers or furry companions allowed (except service animals)!
