Rocket Cinema 5 Year Anniversary Party

Rocket Cinema is blasting off into its 5th year, and they’re throwing an interstellar birthday bash to celebrate all the movies they’ve beamed onto Austin’s night skies.

This anniversary party transforms Ani’s Day & Night into a cosmic playground, where film, music, and psychedelic visuals collide under the stars. It’s part concert, part art show, part outdoor cinema love-fest.

• Live space rock soundtrack: Local cosmic rockers The Dialtones and Scan Hopper will power the night with spacey riffs, shimmering synths, and big, atmospheric sounds perfect for stargazing and head-nodding.

• Immersive outer space visuals: Artists Lyon Graulty, Paul Beck, and Topher Sipes are crafting trippy, galaxy-bright animations that will wrap the stage and courtyard in nebulae, starfields, and otherworldly motion.

• Celebrating 5 years of outdoor movies: Rocket Cinema has been projecting films outside around Austin for half a decade, turning parks, patios, and pop-up spaces into open-air theaters. This party is their way of saying thanks to the community that keeps showing up with blankets, friends, and a love of cinema.
