Welcome to one of Austin’s most gloriously weird Sunday rituals: Chicken Shit Bingo! This long-running tradition at The Little Longhorn Saloon is where honky-tonk charm, cold beer, and pure Texas absurdity collide in the best way possible.

Here’s how it works: you make a $2 or $5 donation and get a ticket with a number on it. That number matches a square on a big bingo-style board. Then Terry brings out the real star of the show – a live chicken. The crowd gathers around, the music’s going, everyone’s laughing and hollering, and we all wait to see which square the chicken chooses for its, ahem, grand performance.

When the bird finally does its business on a number, the lucky human holding that ticket walks away with some serious chicken-scratch cash. It’s ridiculous, suspenseful, and way more fun than any normal bingo card has a right to be.
