Details
Africa Night is back and bringing a full evening of groove-heavy global sounds to Sahara Lounge on May 30, 2026. If you love big horns, West African rhythms, and dancing until late, this is your night.
7:00 pm – Africa Night Buffet & Afro Jazz
Kick things off with a delicious free dinner and a live set from Afro Jazz. Expect a warm, welcoming vibe where you can fill your plate, ease into conversation, and let the band’s soulful grooves set the mood for the night.9:00 pm – Hard Proof
Hard Proof plugs in and turns the energy way up with their horn-driven blend of Afrobeat, funk, and jazz. Their tight rhythms and bold brass lines are built for dancing, so do not be surprised if you find yourself at the front of the floor without even realizing it.11:00 pm – Zoumountchi
Zoumountchi is BACK for 2026, closing out the night with an explosive late set. Their sound pulls from West African highlife, Afrobeat, and dance-heavy psych grooves, creating a joyful, high-energy atmosphere that keeps the crowd moving well past midnight.
Beyond the stage, Africa Night is as much about community as it is about music. The free dinner makes it easy to arrive early, meet new people, and settle in for the full three-band journey. Tasty drink options, including non-alcoholic choices, keep everyone refreshed while the backyard patio offers a chill, open-air escape for conversations between sets.
With free parking, an easy-going crowd, and a lineup designed to take you on a musical trip across the African diaspora, Africa Night with Hard Proof, Afro Jazz, and Zoumountchi is the kind of event where you show up for a quick drink and end up staying until the last note rings out.
Come hungry, come ready to dance, and come prepared for a full night of rhythm, flavor, and seriously good vibes.
