For one unforgettable night, the spirit of TC’s Lounge is coming back to East Austin as the TC’s Lounge Reunion takes over Sahara Lounge. This special evening is all about the legendary vibes, the neighborhood magic, and the deep-running blues and soul that made TC’s a true Austin institution.

If you were ever lucky enough to hang out at TC’s, you already know this reunion is non-negotiable. Expect that same warm, lively, everybody-knows-everybody energy, with the dance floor filling up fast and the music cutting straight to the soul. If you never made it to TC’s back in the day, this is your chance to experience what all the stories are about.

In partnership with Eastside Kings Festival and benefiting Hungry Hill Foundation, JP’s Peace, Love & Happiness Foundation is bringing together a powerhouse lineup of iconic Austin musicians who carry the torch of the city’s blues heritage.

Little Elmore Reed – channeling raw, classic blues guitar and tone that feels straight out of another era.
Soul Man Sam – a true Austin favorite whose voice and stage presence turn every song into a celebration.
Mac McIntosh – bringing that deep groove and soulful authenticity that defined nights at TC’s.

Doors open at 7:00 pm and the music rolls into the night, just like the old days. Tickets are available at the door, so all you have to do is show up ready to listen, dance, and soak in the history.

Welcome to Sahara Lounge, East Austin's premier spot for live music and dancing! This historic venue has been serving up great vibes since 2011, carrying on a rich musical tradition that dates back to 1962 when the building first opened as Lincoln Drive Inn.

Step inside and you'll immediately feel the musical history in this Texas juke joint with a twist. The relaxed, eclectic atmosphere offers the authentic "old Austin" feel that's becoming increasingly rare. With its sprung wooden dance floor, full bar serving signature cocktails (including the unique Sahara Slants made with Ghanaian akpeteshie), and spacious outdoor patio, the Sahara creates the perfect setting for unforgettable nights.

Family-owned by musicians Eileen Bristol and her son Topaz McGarrigle (lead singer of Golden Dawn Arkestra), this venue presents a diverse array of musical styles five nights a week, including:
