This show brings together 8–9 brave storytellers, each with just 5–7 minutes on the mic to share something real. Stories can be sad, triumphant, weird, awkward, or laugh-out-loud hilarious—but they’re always true, and often it’s someone’s first time telling their story on stage. Expect honesty, vulnerability, and plenty of moments that make you think, “Same.”

The theme for the night is Fabulous!, which means anything from fabulously messy mistakes to fabulous wins, fabulous outfits, fabulous disasters, and fabulously unexpected twists in life. The fun is in seeing how each storyteller spins that single word into something totally personal.

The event is ASL interpreted, making it intentionally welcoming for Deaf and Hard of Hearing audience members. If you or someone in your group needs specific accommodations, the organizers encourage you to reach out ahead of time so everyone can fully enjoy the show.

Seating is first come, first sit in Batch’s backyard. Space is limited, so rolling in around 7:00 pm is the move—grab a spot, settle in, and chat up a few new friends before the stories start. This is a bring-your-full-heart kind of night: warmth, kindness, and a supportive crowd are part of the experience.

Outside food and drinks (besides a water bottle) are a no-go, but Batch has you covered with drinks and kolaches, plus additional food options from nearby trucks. Parking is limited, so ride-sharing is highly encouraged, and street parking is available if you plan ahead and park thoughtfully.

Once the show kicks off, you’re in for about 60–70 minutes of live storytelling magic—no scripts, no screens, just people and their true stories under the night sky. It’s intimate, low-key, and the kind of event you leave feeling a little more connected to everyone around you.
