Greezy Wheels Armadillo Records Album Premiere(s)

Greezy Wheels are throwing a double-dose celebration for their final new music album, We Come We Go, and it all kicks off with the Armadillo Records Album Premiere at the legendary Continental Club on June 13, 2026 at 7:00 pm.

This party marks a historic homecoming: the original house band of Armadillo World Headquarters teaming up with the original Armadillo Records label, born in 1969 and now gloriously reborn. Greezy Wheels officially become the first band to “go home with the Armadillo,” and they’re doing it in style, with a night that feels like a living love letter to Austin’s musical soul.

• Album spotlight: Celebrate the release of We Come We Go, the band’s final new music album, packed with fresh tunes that carry the same wild spirit that made them the so-called “Grateful Dead of Texas.”
• Star-studded sit-ins: The Continental Club premiere features special guest appearances by original Greezy Wheels guitarist Pat Pankratz, Armadillo art legends Jim Franklin and Kerry Awn, and more friends from the band’s storied past.
• Deep Austin roots: This is the real-deal Armadillo Records—the OG label tied to Armadillo World Headquarters—now revived and reunited with its original house band for a truly full-circle moment.
• The band today: The current Greezy Wheels lineup brings together originals Cleve, Lissa, and Sweet Mary Hattersley with John Bush, Penny Jo Pullus, Matt Hubbard, John Jordan, and Coleman Berg, blending decades of history with serious live firepower.
