Armadillo Live at Central Machine Works is bringing three joyful days of old-Austin magic with a fresh 2026 twist, all in support of KUTX. Expect a colorful mix of live music, community vibes, art, food, and delightfully offbeat fun that feels like a love letter to the city’s creative spirit.

Friday kicks off with the Hippie Cowboy Ball, where KUTX DJs, happy hour energy, and live sets from Holy Wave and Annabelle Chairlegs set the tone. Costumes are encouraged, and the throwback beer pricing adds to the retro charm.
Saturday turns into Old Austin Day, packed with kids crafting, a make-your-own show poster station, and a Music of the Armadillo kids show celebrating Willie Nelson and the Grateful Dead. Later, the Austin Music Memorabilia Swap brings limited merch, tie-dye, chain-stitching, and plenty of collector-worthy browsing before evening performances from Arc Iris, Gran Moreno, and White Denim.
Sunday slows things down with a Cosmic Revival Brunch, followed by a performance from The Greyhounds to close out the weekend on a soulful note.
Along the way, you’ll find the kind of immersive, community-first atmosphere that makes Austin feel both nostalgic and brand new.
