This collaboration between The Potion Pixie and Drop of Poison Productions brings together tipsy learning and flirty performances in a mystical atmosphere complete with spunky music and enchanting energy. Whether you're an experienced bartender or just starting out, all skill levels are welcome to embrace the magic of Absinthe, agave spirits, and floral infusions.

The Venue
Welcome to The Butterfly Bar @ The VORTEX, a whimsical cocktail and wine bar unlike any other in Austin! Nestled in East Austin, our beautiful space features a historic 100-year-old bar inside and a spacious outdoor garden that's actually a nationally certified butterfly sanctuary.
Every drink you enjoy here supports a wonderful cause - we're owned and operated by The VORTEX, a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre established in Austin in 1988. Your purchases directly help pay performing artists and support the vibrant arts community.
