On June 20th, 2026 at 7:00 pm, the patio comes alive with music, dance, art, and mouthwatering flavors that channel the golden age of Tropicália and Brazil’s contemporary grooves.

• Move first, think later – The evening kicks off with a Brazilian dance or drum lesson designed to shake off the week and get everyone in sync. Whether you are brand-new to samba steps or already fluent in hip sways, the class is equal parts icebreaker and mini cultural immersion.

• Live bands with serious swagger – Two of Austin’s Brazilian powerhouses take the stage:

  • Nossas Novas lays down lush Bossa Nova and Tropicália-inspired tunes, threading in samba, jazz, and rock for a sophisticated yet playful soundscape.

  • Frederico7 delivers original Afro-Brazilian grooves soaked in psychedelic soul, reflecting a journey that runs from Brazil through Mexico and into Austin’s creative core.

• DJs keep the floor burning – After the bands, rotating DJs slide seamlessly into samba, tropical funk, cumbia, disco, and other dance-floor gold. Expect high-energy sets with zero filler and a crowd that actually dances.

• Art around every corner – The Day & Night Gallery, curated by Daniel Trelenberg, showcases visual work from local artists. Between sets you can wander, browse, and discover new favorites while still staying close to the music and action.

• A taste of Brazil on your plate and in your glass – Caipirinhas flow all night, backed by Brazilian bites from Espada’s Grill and rotating local food partners. Think grilled goodness, bold flavors, and perfect fuel for another round on the dance floor.
