Discover the art and craft of woodworking at the Fundamentals of Box Design and Construction class! Guided by instructor Matt Kenney, this five-day, in-person event is perfect for beginners and intermediate woodworkers alike who are eager to design and build their own custom box.
- Dates: September 8th to 12th, 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Hands-on instruction with individual design and construction of a wooden box
- No prerequisites; must be 18 or older to participate
- Includes practice materials and a group outing to the lumber yard for custom wood selection
- Bring commonly used tools like chisels, block plane, measuring tools, and sketchbooks
- Finish your project with professional touches, including pulls and a beautiful shellac finish
