Discover the art of fine woodworking with the Fundamentals of Box Design and Construction workshop! Led by expert instructor Matt Kenney, this five-day in-person course welcomes both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts to master box making fundamentals. Participants will design and build their very own decorative box, learn to select lumber on a group trip to the lumber yard, and hone hand tool and finishing skills, including making unique pulls and applying a shellac finish. All standard practice materials are included and you’ll leave with refined woodworking techniques and a unique handmade project. Tools and supply lists provided on registration. Ages 18+ only.
