Sunday 2nd Wave Ecstatic Dance (S. Austin)

Join a unique, uplifting experience at the Sunday 2nd Wave Ecstatic Dance in South Austin! This is a weekly, family-friendly event that encourages everyone, no matter your dance background, to move however you feel, in a welcoming and consent-based atmosphere.

• Every Sunday, doors open at 12:45PM, with a warm-up followed by an hour of high-energy music and dance. The event closes with a grounding circle at 2:35PM.
• Expect an immersive blend of vibrant beats and reflective melodies in the 5 Rhythms style, guiding dancers through waves of movement and stillness.
• This is a free-form, sober dance*—no talking on the dance floor, no cameras, and movement can be barefoot, in socks, or dance shoes.
• Sliding scale entry: $15/$20/$25 per adult – kids under 18 are free!
• All are welcome to this consent-based, respectful, and fun space. Come as you are and let your body move!
